Q?

If your order was placed before 1:00 PM PST we will roast it that day and ship it out the very next morning.  Your coffee is shipped via Priority Mail from USPS that typically arrives in two business days. Guaranteeing you some of the freshest coffee you have ever tasted.

Q?

Why certified fair trade coffee?

A.

To put it simply, buying Fair Trade ensures the wonderful farmers get paid a fair price for their hard work instead of "undercutting" them and forcing them into deeper poverty, or to use non organic pesticides and herbicides. Read more on our blog about Cafe Femenino.

Q?

Why organic coffee?

A.

The brilliant coffee farmers all over the world have learned many ways to keep their crops pest and disease free.  The problem is, it takes more time and care to keep the coffee plants healthy organically, which leads to higher prices.  When these farmers are not paid a fair price for their hard work they resort to using toxic pesticides and herbicides that cost less, and can have adverse health effects on both the farmers and the people consuming the product.

Q?

I live local, can I pick up my order?

A.

If your order was placed before 1:00 PM we will roast it that day. If you selected whole bean you will be able to pick up your order the evening it was submitted usually no later than 7:00 PM. If you wanted your coffee ground then the coffee will need 12 hours to rest and off-gas, your order will typically be ready for pick up by 1:00 PM PST the day after you order.

Email confirmations and notices will be sent out to inform you exactly when your coffee will be ready for pickup.
