El Socorro Coffee Farm, under the ownership of Juan Diego de la Cerda, stands as a testament to a family tradition dating back to 1980, spanning three generations of coffee excellence.

Located in Palencia, just 33 miles East of Guatemala City, the farm boasts an elevation of approximately 1,750 meters above sea level. With approximately 125 hectares of coffee plantations, El Socorro consistently produces around 1,000 bags of coffee per harvest.

What truly sets El Socorro apart is its devotion to cultivating exotic coffee varietals, including Pacamara, Maracaturra, and Geisha. The commitment to processing excellence has earned the farm a distinguished reputation. El Socorro has been a consistent presence in the Cup of Excellence, consistently ranking among the top 20 coffee producers. In fact, in 2020, their Geisha variety achieved the remarkable feat of securing 1st place at the COE Guatemala competition.
