Smooth, sweet and remarkably clean, this medium-dark decaf comes from the Cooperativa de Caficultores de Anserma in Caldas, Colombia.

Grown at an average elevation of 1,500 meters, this fully washed coffee combines Castillo and Cenicafé 1 varieties. Expect a balanced, comforting cup with notes of chocolate, almond and dried fruit.

After processing in Colombia, the coffee is decaffeinated by Swiss Water in British Columbia, Canada. The process removes caffeine without added chemical solvents while helping preserve the coffee’s sweetness, structure and origin character.

This coffee is produced by members of the Cooperativa de Caficultores de Anserma in Caldas, one of Colombia’s historic coffee-growing regions.

The coffee is cultivated at an average elevation of 1,500 meters and combines Castillo and Cenicafé 1, two varieties widely grown in Colombia. The region and elevation contribute to the coffee’s balanced structure, sweetness and approachable character.

Processing and Decaffeination

The coffee is fully washed at origin before being sent to the Swiss Water facility in British Columbia, Canada.

The Swiss Water Process uses water, Green Coffee Extract, controlled temperature, time and carbon filtration to remove caffeine without added chemical solvents. This helps retain the coffee’s original flavor compounds and produces a clean, naturally sweet decaf.
