Esther Short is the standard drip coffee at both Kafiex Coffee Lab and Kafiex Gastro Café. Its approachable flavor, full body, and reliable performance have made it a longtime staff favorite and our most popular Traditional blend for filter brewing.
Blend Design and Roast Profile
Each component is roasted separately to account for differences in origin, moisture, and density before the coffees are blended.

Roasting Schedule
Our 5 lb bags are roasted weekly. Orders placed by Thursday at midnight are included in that week’s production, roasted Friday or Saturday, and typically shipped Monday or Tuesday.
