Producer & Origin

Grown by Arturo Arango at Finca El Paraíso in Barcelona, Quindío, a region known for volcanic soil, stable rainfall, and balanced, fruit-forward cup profiles. After purchasing the 25-hectare farm in 2015, Arturo replanted aging trees, improved soil health, and introduced intentional agronomy practices informed by his background in Business Administration and Agroindustries.

Today, his work represents the new wave of Quindío producers elevating classic cultivars through modern precision.

Processing

Ripe Typica cherries are dried whole on raised beds with carefully controlled airflow and temperature — essential in Quindío’s humid climate. The result is a clean, fruit-layered natural that preserves Typica’s inherent elegance while enhancing its sweetness.
