Made from specialty filter paper that is 20 to 30% thicker than most competing filters, the CHEMEX design captures oils and sediment while supporting a consistent extraction. The result is a smooth, clear cup with excellent flavor definition.

Each natural brown filter is pre-folded for convenient setup. The 100-count box is suitable for cafés, restaurants, offices and home brewers.

Natural Filter Paper

The natural brown paper retains its original wood color and is cleaned using hot-water baths. It is not bleached or oxygen-cleansed.

The paper is responsibly sourced in accordance with SFI, FSC and PEFC sustainable forestry programs.

Brewing Tip

Open the filter so three layers are positioned on one side and one layer is on the other. Place the three-layer side against the brewer’s spout to help prevent the filter from forming a vacuum seal.

Rinse thoroughly with hot water before brewing to warm the brewer and remove any paper aroma.
